Covid, 23 new positives in the Forlì area. In Romagna an outbreak causes three deaths

There are 23 new positives in Forlì and the territory in the last 24 hours. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Emilia-Romagna Region released on Sunday afternoon. No deaths were reported. Unfortunately, there are three deaths in Bagnacavallo in the province of Ravenna, where an outbreak is underway in a retirement home: a 91-year-old woman and two men of 91 and 93 years. 2 in Santa Sofia, 2 in Tredozio and a positive one in Civitella, Castrocaro, Forlimpopoli and Bertinoro. There are 23 healed throughout the province.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, 429,737 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 316 more than on Saturday, out of a total of 20,209 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons made since Saturday is 1.5%. Meanwhile, the anti-Covid vaccination campaign continues, extended to all citizens over 12 years of age. At 2.30 pm a total of 6,784,219 doses were administered; out of the total, 3,444,159 people have completed the vaccination cycle.

The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 89 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and screening activities. Overall, 86 of the new positives were already in isolation at the time of swab execution; 186 were identified within already known outbreaks. The average age of new positives today is 41.8 years. Of the 89 asymptomatic, 62 were identified thanks to contact tracing, 2 with serological screening, 10 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 2 through pre-hospitalization tests. An epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 13 cases.

The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 90 cases; followed by Ravenna with 37 new cases, then Reggio Emilia (35), Rimini (32), Modena (28), Forlì (23), Parma (19), Cesena (17), then the Imola district (14,) Piacenza ( 12) and finally Ferrara (9). In the last 24 hours, 9,474 molecular swabs were performed, for a total of 6,086,982. In addition, there are also 10,735 rapid antigen tests. As for the total people healed, they are 777 more than yesterday and reach 406,154. The active cases, that is the actual patients, are now 10,029 (-464). Of these, people in isolation at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are symptom-free, total 9,714 (-471), almost 97% of the total number of active cases.

In total, there have been 13,554 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic. Patients admitted to intensive care increased slightly 33 (+3); and in the other Covid departments (+4), where they become 282. In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 3 in Piacenza (unchanged compared to yesterday); 3 in Parma (unchanged); 4 in Modena (unchanged from yesterday); 11 in Bologna (+1); 4 in Imola (+1); 3 in Ravenna (+1); 3 in Forlì (unchanged); 1 in Cesena (unchanged), 1 in Rimini (unchanged). No hospitalization in Reggio Emilia and Ferrara (like yesterday).
