The debut of the Anantara Hotels brand in Italy makes a stop in Rome. In fact, it joins the Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel group, in Piazza della Repubblica, which boasts a fascinating architectural history with original elements commissioned by Pope Clement XI for the Vatican in 1705. The building stands on the ancient Baths of Diocletian, whose foundations , swimming pools and mosaics are visible from the lower floor. There are 238 rooms in all.

Anantara Palazzo Naiadi is currently in transition to the Anantara brand. The full range of Anantara experiences will be presented in the coming months. The renovation, which will begin in January 2022 and will continue throughout the next year, will offer a hall with an elegant design enriched with modern and antique details.

The hotel’s food and wine offer will be enriched by a new bar, with original decorations in Art Nouveau style, a suggestive rooftop with unparalleled panoramic views and a “healthy” corner to satisfy the requests of each guest.

A new Anantara Spa will be inaugurated on the top floor of the hotel in 2022, with facilities including a steam bath, hammam, hydrotherapy, sauna and relaxation area. And again, a fitness center with personal training sessions, yoga classes and the possibility of practicing physical activity in the wonderful gardens of Villa Borghese.
