From today in Milan 2,700 companies for TuttoFood and HostMilano
From Filiera Italia a web marathon on Made in Italy exports
Milan, 22 Oct (askanews) – More than 2,700 companies in the food & hospitality sector from today, 22 October 2021, until Tuesday 26, will participate in TuttoFood, the B2B event for the agri-food system and HostMilano, the world fair dedicated to the world of catering and welcome that, for the first time, are presented together with the appointment with the restart.
A conference dedicated to the theme of innovation and sustainability for the agri-food industry inaugurated the event. Speaking of innovation, in the afternoon there will be the awarding of the winners of the Smart Label competition, Host Innovation Award, organized by Fiera Milano and HostMilano in collaboration with POLI.Design Consorzio del Politecnico di Milano with the patronage of Adi: about eighty “submissions “Arrived, 25 companies that will be awarded for products, services and projects considered more” disruptive “for functionality, technologies, environmental sustainability, ethics or social implications.
In Hall 15, Meat Tech’s proposal includes daily demonstrations on the theme of sustainability of packaging, veg and plant based. In particular, with La Fabbrica Sostenibile there will be two demonstrations a day of packaging and processing of hamburgers and mortadella with the use of packaging made with increasingly recyclable monomaterial material and film. Innovative Food Experience, on the other hand, is the space dedicated to the production of plant-based foods where visitors can taste and learn about innovative natural ingredients on the front of new food trends.
Filiera Italia and Coldiretti will also be protagonists at TuttoFood with an exhibition space of over a thousand paintings in Hall 18, where the agri-food excellences are exhibited that will allow Made in Italy to exceed 50 billion euros in exports this year. It will be possible to touch the novelties of food, oriented towards sustainability in the most diverse areas: from the new home DIY kits to the latest superfoods, from hi-tech foods to grandma’s happy hours to health-saving foods. For the occasion, Coldiretti will disseminate the analysis “The agri-food supply chain tested by Covid”.
In addition to participating in the inaugural event, in collaboration with the Ice Agency, Filiera Italia, on the other hand, organized the digital event “Change – Italian agri-food marathon in the post-pandemic world”, a real journey into the world among most important markets for Made in Italy, with more than 60 guests from entrepreneurs, producers, young farmers, exporters and opinion leaders. It will start from the East with Japan, passing through Europe and ending the marathon in the afternoon with the United States of America. On 25 October, in the events space of pavilion 14, the conference “The agri-food chain, a driving force for the restart of the country” will be held.
