Gualtieri closes the election campaign in Piazza del Popolo: “All my commitment to Rome”

“I am here to commit myself not only to winning the elections, but to give my all to contribute to the revitalization of this city”. Roberto Gualtieri, mayoral candidate for the center left, closed his election campaign in a crowded Piazza del Popolo. Not full with the numbers “of the past”, but with many activists, voters, volunteers who in recent months have been close to their confidant and who now feel victory is near. “I have a good feeling – says Gualtieri – speaking with people in several they told me that they did not vote in the first round but that now they will. Let’s hope”.

Next to Gualtieri, on the stage, the new mayor of Naples, Gaetano Manfredi, also climbs. But there are also Gianni Cuperlo, the Minister of Culture, Dario Franceschini, the president of the Lazio Region, Nicola Zingaretti, to name a few. Also present was the former deputy mayor of the Rays junta, Luca Bergamo: “I gave a hand to Gualtieri because I think it is the best proposal for this city – explains Bergamo -, Raggi’s electoral result should make us think”.

“Let’s go win and change Rome”, Gualteri says at the end of his speech from the stage, amid the applause of supporters.

Towards the ballot, interview with Roberto Gualtieri: “My sustainable and inclusive Rome. We are more credible than the center-right”
