Campi Bisenzio (Florence), 11 October 2021 – Mortal accident a Campi Bisenzio (Florence) in the night: a 47-year-old man, a resident of Campi, was run over and killed by a car. The driver is fleewithout giving help and is now wanted by carabinieri of the Signa company for road murder.

Upon notification made to the operations center, the carabinieri intervened at around 4.30 in via Chiella, at the height of the house number 2, as a person on the ground on the carriageway had been reported. In addition to the soldiers of the Arma on the spot also the 118 health personnel who ascertained the death of the 47-year-old.

From the first investigations, the cause of death appears to be attributable to a road accident, the carabinieri explained. Plastic fragments and tire tracks were found on the site due to a sudden swerve. The body was transported to the forensic medicine institute of the Careggi hospital. Investigations are underway to track down the driver of the car.
