Friday 8 October, from 10 to 23, Piazza d’Italia will host the Sassari stage of the vaccination Open day organized by the Municipality and Ats with the slogan “To complete the work. Your vaccine is good for everyone!”. It will be a day dedicated to the prevention of Covid-19, with the possibility of getting vaccinated without reservation, and to promoting the culture of health and prevention, including playful initiatives for children and entertainment for adults.
“We want it to be an opportunity for people who have not yet adhered to the moral obligation to vaccinate to protect others,” said Mayor Nanni Campus. In Piazza d’Italia, a big screen will broadcast a video story of the great effort made in the city to fight the health emergency. “The management of the vaccination campaign in Sassari was virtuous, we invite citizens not yet immunized to come to Piazza d’Italia”, is the appeal of the extraordinary commissioner of Ats, Massimo Temussi.
To get vaccinated and get a 7 euro meal voucher you don’t have to book, but show up with an identity document and health card. Non-residents and foreigners can also join. Among the testimonials, the Tressardi stand out, who will perform at 8 pm. There will also be the information stands of Promocamera, University of Sassari, Dinamo, Torres, La Nuova Sardegna and the Marialisa De Carolis concert institution. A space will then be dedicated to Unicef, which will present its prophylactic vaccine activities in developing countries. At 6 pm, professors Sergio Babudieri and Giovanni Sotgiu will animate the debate “Covid-19: where are we?”.
