(ANSA) – MILAN, OCTOBER 05 – The Democratic Party remains the first party returning to exceed 30%, a boom by Fratelli d’Italia which quadruples its votes compared to 2016, flop instead of the 5 Star Movement which takes the opposite path compared to the party of Giorgia Meloni and drops from 10% to 2.7%, surpassed also by the movement of Gianluigi Paragone Italexit, which however remains outside the city council, stopping at 2.99%. These are the final results for the administrative lists of Milan.
As for the mayors, once the ballot was over (1248 sections out of 1248), the outgoing mayor Giuseppe Sala was confirmed in the first round with 277,478 preferences (50 thousand more than in the first round of 2016), equal to 57.73% of voters .
The challenger of the center-right Luca Bernardo obtained 153,637 votes equal to 3.97%. Gianluca Paragone with 14,366 votes, surpassed the M5s candidate, Layla Pavone with 12,953 votes.
