In the last 24 hours, 2,985 positive cases of coronavirus and 65 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected in Italy. Currently the hospitalized are 3,877 (98 less than yesterday), of which 459 in the intensive care wards (29 less than yesterday) and 3,418 in the other wards (69 less than yesterday). 117,613 molecular swabs and 220,812 rapid antigenic tests were analyzed. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 2.26 percent, while that of antigen tests was 0.15 percent. On Monday, 1,749 infections were recorded and 45 died.
The regions that have recorded the most cases in the last 24 hours are Sicily (553), Veneto (376), Lombardy (345), Lazio (252) and Campania (222).
