Rome, at the Imperial Forums with Dalí masks: the protest of Alitalia workers

The mobilization of Alitalia workers against the choices of the new Ita company on personnel management continues. Protesters gathered under the Colosseum in Rome and then paraded along Via dei Fori Imperiali displaying a banner entitled ‘The Paper Plane’, referring to the Spanish TV series, wearing Dalí masks. “This is not a demonstration for its own sake, but it is a revolution against those who want to cancel our rights and trample on what has been achieved in so many years. We cannot allow it, we want to keep the acquired rights”, says a worker. The mobilization has been going on for weeks now, with peaks of tension at Fiumicino airport. “There is bitterness but there is no resignation, we will always be in the streets until the problem is resolved”, adds a protester.
