Three Italians on the top of the world for haute patisserie: Lorenzo Puca, Massimo Pica and Andrea Restuccia have won the world pastry championship in Lyon. This was announced in a note by the national president Conpait (the Confederation of Italian pastry chefs) Angelo Musolino. In the ten hours available, the team created, competing with ten other nations, the chocolate dessert to share, the ice cream cake, the restaurant dessert, the 165 cm high sugar sculpture and, with the same height, a chocolate pièce . Second place for Japan and third for France. It is the third time that Italy has won this recognition.
