As per the weather forecast, heavy bad weather is hitting several northern areas. Responsible for the worsening is an Atlantic depression cavity within an unstable secondary north-oceanic circulation, but rather incisive and with a cyclonic curvature in the vicinity of the upper Tyrrhenian Sea and the Northwest of Italy, also with an adjoining vortex core at high altitude. In these morning hours, the sectors most exposed to strong thunderstorms are mainly the central Ligurian ones and then gradually towards the Levante Ligure all, but strong or violent rainfall is expected towards Emilia, locally towards upper Tuscany, and rains or thunderstorms spread over central-eastern Lombardy, towards Trentino and also Veneto, especially central-southern Italy.
During the morning and then even more during the day, the areas most directly exposed to important phenomena will be above all central-eastern Liguria, upper Tuscany, Emilia Romagna a bit all, but more Emilia and again central-western Lombardy, Trentino, Veneto, above all central-southern, Venezia Giulia and part of Friuli. Maximum alert between the Genoese, upper Tuscany, western Emilia, especially the Parma area, also the Piacentino, Reggiano, especially the central-southern sectors of these Emilian provinces, for possible massive accumulations up to 150/180 mm and risk of disruptions, flash floods and even tornadoes. But strong phenomena will also affect the rest of Emilia-Romagna, where rainfall will be widely above 40/50/60 mm. Strong or violent thunderstorms up to 40/60 mm possible also on central Lombardy, up to 30/40 mm on the lower Veneto and on the Romagna coasts. Showers and thunderstorms possible in a more irregular form on the rest of the North, also towards Tuscany in the day and then on the Marche. Irregular clouds towards the middle Tyrrhenian Sea, especially over central and northern Lazio, also over Sardinia, here with greater densities in the northern sectors and local rains and showers; weather mostly stable and sunnier over the rest of Italy, especially the rest of the Center, the South, the rest of Sardinia and Sicily, except for an increase in irregular clouds over the Tyrrhenian sectors and Sicily. Falling temperatures in the North, stationary and very hot in the Center South, up to + 33 ° C on the peninsular flat areas, even + 36 / + 37 ° C on southern Sardinia.
