Goodbye summer. Bad weather is falling all over Italy. In these hours of Thursday 16 September, a first disturbed front is hitting the Northwest, on the Alps, in Emilia Romagna and in Tuscany to then intensify on the Triveneto. Heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and local hailstorms are therefore expected on these regions. But a further deterioration is expected in the evening and into the night. On the rest of Italy, apart from widespread cloud cover, the weather will be drier.
On Friday the disturbance will leave the North, still affecting the Triveneto and in the morning also Tuscany, subsequently descending on Lazio, Umbria and in the afternoon also the Marche. The second disturbance will hit during the weekend with other rains and thunderstorms especially in the North and again in the upper Tuscany. Only on Sunday the boot will be able to experience the last flashes of heat and sun.
The only clouds will persist on the Triveneto. Weekend definitely sunny, on the other hand for the Center-South. The good weather will also continue in the first two days of next week, after which autumn could break in with more rains and a marked drop in temperature. At that point the summer will really be over and will leave room for much colder and gray days.
