Edenred Italia has appointed Fabrizio Ruggiero to lead the Group’s Italian office as general manager and CEO.

The main objectives of the manager are to continue and implement the path of growth and innovation that in recent years has led the company to the top of the reference market in terms of results and quality of the solutions offered, increasingly conceived from a digital perspective.

Fabrizio Ruggiero, graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome in Business Economics and with a Master in Business Administration from Mip – Politecnico di Milano, boasts important experiences in the Leisure, Travel & Transportation and Business & Financial Services sectors. He began his career as a Consultant first at Accenture and then at Bain & Company. From 2004 in Leasys where he became general manager, having previously held managerial roles in operations, procurement and commercial.

In 2011 Ruggiero joined Europcar Mobility Group as CEO and general manager for Italy. In 2016 he was appointed group deputy chief executive officer, while assuming responsibility for commercial activities for the entire Group. Furthermore, from 2014 to 2016, Ruggiero held the role of president of ANIASA, the Confindustria association that brings together companies that carry out vehicle rental, car sharing and services related to mobility.
