(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 13 – This morning the title plate of the Teatro Valle was unveiled to Franca Valeri, in the presence of the artist’s daughter, Stefania Bonfadelli, the author and TV presenter Pino Strabioli and the actor Urbano Barberini . “The naming of the oldest modern theater in Europe after Franca Valeri was strongly desired by this Administration – explains the Campidoglio in a note -. A tribute to this great artist who died a year ago, linked to the Valley so much that it is considered” home his “: it was here that Valeri made her debut, both as an actress and author”. The redevelopment project of the Valle was also presented today by the designers of the group coordinated by Studio Berlucchi of Brescia, winner of the public tender for the restoration of the Teatro Valle, who previewed how the theater will finally be returned to the city once the jobs. The project envisages, in agreement with the Superintendency, “an integral redevelopment of the entire architectural complex” which will allow “an increase in the number of places available in full compliance with the regulatory requirements in terms of fire prevention”.
