(ANSA) – MILAN, 11 SEPTEMBER – In the evening, the no green passes returned to protest in Milan: they appeared in Piazza Duomo, from 6 pm, and then moved in procession towards Piazza della Scala. ‘No green pass’ and ‘Umani non sorci’ are two of the banners that opened the very popular event, including slogans such as ‘We are the people’, ‘Hands off children’, ‘Milan does not bend’ and insults towards Prime Minister Mario Draghi and the mayor of the Lombard capital Giuseppe Sala. “These are the civilized people who take to the streets to defend constitutional rights”, they explain, inviting a new demonstration next Saturday in Piazza Duomo “with two presidents of the Supreme Court”. Among those present was also Senator Gianluigi Paragone, candidate for mayor of Italexit: “This is the first time I have come to Milan but the hunger for rights is the same as in other cities”, he said. “Today is September 11 and those freedoms are threatened by hypocrisy on the green pass,” he added assuring the absence of moments of tension. “I’ve been here since the beginning and 99.9% of these people are made up,” he added. The parade was also attended by Marco Mantovani, a far-right exponent who was a candidate for mayor of Forza Nuova at the last municipal meetings. (HANDLE).
