Pasquale Francavilla, 46 years old, detained in the Cosenza prison, he died today inside the structure in via Popilia due to the worsening of his conditions, already critical for some time. Francavilla had been rushed to the intensive care unit of the Annunziata hospital for a serious vascular disease that made him incompatible with the prison regime. The lawyer of Francavilla had raised the issue for some time and presented an application for assignment to house arrest to be treated by the authorities but immediately after being discharged from the hospital, his client returned to prison, where his conditions worsened further until his death. Francavilla had been definitively convicted as part of the Apocalypse operation and was serving the last 10 months of his sentence. The prosecutor of Cosenza, after the denunciation of the Francavilla family, has opened an investigation.
