A Monza Saturday 11 September will be dedicated to sprint qualification of the Italian Grand Prix of F1. In this regard, it is worth recalling the regulatory rudiments of what we will see today. We will see one mini-garage from 18 turns, whose starting grid was established by yesterday’s qualifying. The order of arrival of today’s test will determine, instead, the starting grid for tomorrow’s GP, which will be run over the canonical distance of 53 laps. In addition, the first three finishers of the sprint qualification will get points valid for the World Championship (3 the first, 2 The second one, 1 the third).

The thirteen poles up for grabs in the 2021 were obtained from four different pilots. At the moment Max Verstappen dominates the scene with seven (Bahrain, France, Styria, Austria, Great Britain, Belgium, Holland). The Dutchman also obtained the only one assigned through Sprint Race (Silverstone). Follows at three Lewis Hamilton (Imola, Spain, Hungary). Two were Charles’s prerogative Leclerc (Monaco, Azerbaijan). Finally Valtteri bottas it was the fastest in Portugal. However, it should be noted that, from the beginning of the season, only five times out of twelve whoever made the pole was then able to convert it into victory! We do not consider what happened in Belgium, because beyond what will go down in history, it cannot be defined as a “race”. So, how to follow the Monza qualifying on TV?
