The Red Bull SoloQ also lands in Italy: it is the amateur tournament of League of Legends, open to all, most followed in the world: has conquered the fans of the acclaimed title of Riot Games and is now ready to reach even the Italian fans in a whole new guise compared to traditional team game modes. The event features players facing off one-on-one in fast-paced and unpredictable matches in the top lane of Summoner’s Rift. The winner of the Italian edition of the Red Bull Solo Q will have the opportunity to represent Italy at the world finals, challenging the best amateur players from around the world to decree the new emerging star of League of Legends.

Four stages

Italian players will have four opportunities to qualify for the finals, scheduled for October 17, of the Italian Red Bull SoloQ: the qualifying tournaments have been scheduled for September 14-15, September 21-22, September 28-29 and October 5-6, from which the two best players will be selected of each round to form the roster of the eight finalists. Furthermore, starting from September 15th, the final stages of each qualifier and the grand final will be broadcast live on the official Red Bull Italia Twitch channel.

Not just a show

Confirming Red Bull’s commitment to “giving wings” to the Italian export scene, the 2021 edition of Red Bull Solo Q will officially be part of the Tormenta Circuit, Riot Games’ competitive ecosystem dedicated to non-professional players. Each team registered in the Tormenta will be able to present its own player, whose points earned on the basis of final positioning in the Red Bull SoloQ will be added to those already possessed by the team.
