The 2021 Drawing Festival returns in September, accompanied by the drawings of Guido Scarabottolo, with many face-to-face and online activities to invite you to take pencils, pens and brushes and give free rein to creativity, imagine new worlds and rediscover the pleasure of coloring, blending , fold, tear, glue, assemble and cut all types of paper.
The Festival starts from Milan, between the courtyards and spaces of the Castello Sforzesco, with two days entirely dedicated to drawing in all its forms, with an Artist’s Atelier upon reservation and many creative workshops in a continuous cycle: all free and thought-out activities for all ages, organized in compliance with safety measures.
To allow everyone to participate online, the Festival also has a DIGITAL EDITION with video contributions that will be available on the FABRIANO platform and the participation of the illustrator and Youtuber Fraffrogg, the Spanish cartoonist Alberto Madrigal, the French watercolorist Sandrine Maugy and the illustrator Dario Cestaro.
The artists who make up the team of the sixth edition of the festival are illustrators, watercolorists, cartoonists and calligraphers who, with workshops and lessons, share their creativity by inviting you to experiment with the many forms of drawing.
The Drawing Festival is an invitation for those who love to draw, for enthusiasts who have never stopped and, above all, for those who are convinced they do not know how to do it and are wrong, because everyone knows how to draw or can do it. From hand to hand, like a great drawing, the Festival continues for a month and travels throughout Italy with over 250 appointments until 10 October.
