The Trenord strike has arrived. From tonight to tomorrow night, and all day Sunday, Trenord convoys risk stopping in Milan and throughout Lombardy due to an agitation proclaimed by the abbreviations “Rsu 1A Pdm” and “Rsu 1B Pdb”. Workers will be able to cross their arms from 3 am on Sunday 5 September until 2 am on Monday 6.
“The agitation could therefore generate repercussions on the railway circulation of Lombardy on the regional and suburban service as well as on the airport service which may be subject to variations and cancellations”, reads a notice from Trenord, the company that manages regional rail transport.
“Since it was proclaimed on a public holiday, there are no guarantee time slots and guaranteed trains by law”, underlined the company, thus clarifying that there will be no time windows in which circulation will be ensured.
“For Airport services only, in the event of a train not running – concluded Trenord – the following may be established:
- bus Milan Cadorna-Malpensa Airport T1 (without intermediate stops). From Milan Cadorna buses will depart from via Paleocapa 1 (to the right of the station).
- bus between Stabio and Malpensa Airport T1 (without intermediate stops) “.
