THE DATA OF THE REGIONS
VENETO – There are 888 new coronavirus infections in Veneto today, according to data from the latest bulletin. There is a new death. Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 439,856 cases in Veneto, 11,645 deaths and 414,908 discharged / healed. The current positives are 13,303.
SICILY – There are 831 new coronavirus infections today 5 August 2021 in Sicily, according to data from the latest bulletin. There are 5 new deaths. PIEDMONT – There are 259 coronavirus infections in Piedmont today, 5 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. No deaths of a positive person in the Covid-19 test were reported by the Piedmont Crisis Unit.
The new cases, of which 16 after antigenic tests, are equal to 1.6% of 15,929 swabs performed, of which 10,340 antigenic. Of the 259 new positives, 97 (37.5%) were asymptomatic.

FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA – There are 111 new coronavirus infections today 5 August 2021 in Friuli Venezia Giulia, according to data from the latest bulletin. This was announced by the deputy governor with responsibility for health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The positivity rate, calculated on the sum of molecular swabs and antigen tests of the day, is equal to 1.93%.
PUGLIA – There are 243 coronavirus infections in Puglia today, 5 August 2021, according to data from the region’s bulletin. No deaths were recorded. The new cases were detected on 10,492 tests: 35 in the province of Bari, 30 in the province of Brindisi, 47 in the province of BAT, 13 in the province of Foggia, 92 in the province of Lecce, 19 in the province of Taranto, 2 cases of residents outside region, 5 cases of unknown province of residence. The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with 113 new cases and Rimini with 112; followed by Bologna (91) and Reggio Emilia (82). Then Ferrara (57) and Parma (51); then Piacenza (48), Ravenna (46) and Cesena (32). Finally, Forlì (19) and the Imolese district (18).
