Rome – Team 3 A of the Rome Fire Brigade, yesterday afternoon, was hijacked from operations room in via Mondrian for a bush fire.

As usual, the rescuers were focused on extinguishing the fire, when they have found a colony of sea urchins in the flames.

The little animals were crowded in a burning reed bed and the fire brigade, also on this occasion, were prompt in pulling the small animals out of the stake saving them from the flames.

Afterwards, the rescuers took care to quench the urchins’ thirst and transport them to a safe place.
