Via del Corso, a quiet late morning characterized by heat: the Roman road is divided in two, looking towards Piazza Venezia, those looking for the shade are on the left, while sun lovers, few since almost all passersby wear a jacket and tie having as their goal the political buildings, they turn to the right. Suddenly, on the left side, shortly after Largo Goldoni, from behind comes a thunderous voice screaming “I’m offended, I’m offended”. It is very recognizable, it is the one belonging to Pier Ferdinando Casini’s uvula (photo on the left). He overtakes myself on the right, with a runner’s stride: but the news is that Casini is wearing the clothing of a perfect runner. Technical athletic shoes, shorts, a “vintage” marathon runner t-shirt and a red cap with visor, the former president of the Chamber of Deputies squanders his oratory skills on his cell phone, repeating “I am offended, I am offended”. Who sees him in front of him does not believe his own eyes and says “but is that Casini really?”, Having never admired the eternal Christian Democrat in a sports suit. Yes, it was him. That of the white semester will be a long race, it will take a beastly physique.
