(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 23 – The Municipality of Milan has acquired for “prevailing public interests” the structures that the Exodus Foundation of don Mazzi and the Ceas, that is the Ambrosian Solidarity Center, have built without permits in the Lambro park while those will be destroyed which are located within ten meters of the river.
Today the City Council approved the declaration of prevailing public interests for the purpose of maintaining part of the structures and the consequent acquisition of part of the Cascina Molino Torrette and Cassinetta San Gregorio to the municipal assets. These are the buildings built as an extension of those assigned in 1992 to Exodus and Ceas which are “points of reference in the city for the support and recovery of fragile people and in situations of hardship”. These structures, underlines a press release from Palazzo Marino, were created “to offer quality services to many citizens in difficulty, they also contributed to the enhancement of the Lambro park”.
