ROME, RENAISSANCE-CHANGE LIST: “ROMAN TRANSPORT IN PIECES ‘THANKS’ TO RAGGI”
“A public transport literally in pieces, absolutely not worthy of an important and renowned European metropolis like Rome. And if the Capitoline public transport service is in severe crisis we owe it also and above all to the vacuous and inefficient mobility policies of the mayor Virginia Raggi, who in these five years of the Capitol has delivered to citizens a service made above all of inefficiencies and delays: and this is true both for services on rail, such as metro and trams, and for those on rubber, such as buses. And there is no point in spot ideas, useless, impromptu and not very disciplined, such as the introduction of the scooter, much praised by the grillini but very little useful to our city. It is appropriate to say it: in the delicate and complex sector of urban transport, Raggi and his companions have taken the wrong path. What about the worrying financial conditions of Atac, whose coffers are increasingly in the red and the economic and operational relaunch promised by Raggi has never started. It is clear and obvious that much more concrete and incisive policies are needed, which aim – for example – at combating waste and combating fare evasion on buses. In this context, we absolutely agree with the mayoral candidate Enrico Michetti, who proposed the reintroduction of the figure of the ticket collector, which would lead to the restoration of legality and the creation of numerous jobs that would pay for themselves with all the abuses punished. “.
Thus, in a note, the Rinascimento / Cambiamo list (supported by the Animalist Revolution, Democrazia del Popolo, Movimento Cantiere Italia), which supports the mayoral candidate for the center-right, Enrico Michetti, on the occasion of the administrative elections in Rome 2021.
