Palazzo delle Scintille has traveled so far at a daily rate of over 6 thousand vaccinations, with peaks in the last few days of over 9 thousand. And now it raises the bar by organizing “the vaccination of 13 thousand people in a single day: as if the residents of a district or an entire municipality in the Milanese hinterland were vaccinated”, the hospital underlines in a note. Accompanying this special day is ‘The night of the Sparks’, a series of performances to cheer the waiting for vaccinated people: starting from 8 pm and until 10.30 pm, entertainment moments with DaMoves are scheduled inside the hub. , urban street and freestyle artists and performers, and a concert by the Choir of the National Alpine Association – Milan Section, “precious volunteers from the first day of the center’s opening”. Palazzo delle Scintille, however, does not stop there – assured by the Polyclinic – and in the coming days, in addition to the scheduling of over 9 thousand daily vaccinations, it is ready to welcome over 60s and all school staff without reservation, and to open new booking availability for young people to ensure a safe return to school and university. Everything is ready to meet the needs of those who stay in the city and to extend the protection against the pandemic coronavirus as much as possible, a note reads. With its 72 vaccination lines, the organization guarantees a quick 30-minute route, except in cases that require a few more minutes of observation. The center in Piazza VI febbraio is always active 7 days a week, from 8 to 20. The hub is coordinated and managed by the Milan Polyclinic in collaboration with Asst Rhodense, Asst Santi Paolo and Carlo, the National Cancer Institute and the Besta Neurological Institute. The active vaccination lines are on average 35, but they are flexible and can rapidly increase up to 72, which can be modulated according to the progress of bookings and vaccination supplies.
