Work and inconvenience, inevitable. For the next (almost) three months, ATM will be forced to change the route of three trams and a bus to allow the opening of some road works.

It was the same company from Foro Bonaparte, which manages the local public transport service under the Madonnina, to explain the changes to the road network on its official website. The “novelties” concern the trams of lines 10, 12 and 14 and the buses of the N25, with the changes that will be effective from Monday 19 July until Sunday 3 October.

The works, clarified the ATM itself, will be used for the “renewal of the tramway network, with the laying of new tracks”.

All changes:

Tram 10
In both directions the trams skip the stop in via Procaccini / Nono (Fabbrica del Vapore). They stop at Cenisio M5.

Tram 12 and 14
In both directions the trams deviate between the Cenisio M5 and Arena stops. They do not go along via Bramante, but pass through p.le Cimitero Monumentale, via Ceresio and viale Montello.

Bus N25
In the direction of Cadorna the buses skip the stops in via Procaccini / Nono and p.za Gramsci. They pass through via Nono, Cenisio M5, p.za Diocleziano, via Losanna, via Piero della Francesca (together with lines 43 and 57) and via Procaccini.
