Strikes return to Milan. The trade union acronym Al Cobas announced for Friday 16 July the stop for 24 hours of all public transport: trains, buses, trams and subways will therefore be at risk of cancellation and delays throughout the day. Atm has communicated that the inconveniences will be possible from 8.45 am to 3 pm and from 6 pm at the end of the service, guaranteeing the afternoon slot.

Reasons for the strike

The trade union initials with a note motivated the decision to strike on Friday 16 July: “against the liberalization -privatization of LPT; against tenders and for the re-internalization of LPT services sold under contract and / or sub-contract; against the MILANO NEXT project; for the re-internalization of processing; for the transformation of Atm SpA into a Special Company of the Municipality of Milan and the consequent direct in-house assignment of the services managed by the Atm Group and of the TPL services of the entire Milanese Metropolitan City; for free TPL services; for the launch of a commission of inquiry which sheds light on the recent events regarding corruption in the ATM; for the dismissal of the management and the commissioner of the “tender commissions” that did not monitor the regularity of the contracts

Buses will replace the metro route. These are the times of the last metro runs:
