Atac: station may be reopened after ministerial tests

Rome, 12 July (askanews) – The replacement works of the transfer systems in the Castro Pretorio metro station B have been completed in recent days. The elevators and four escalators, which had exceeded the useful technical life of thirty years, were changed. Atac technicians are completing the work on the ancillary works. At the same time, the necessary documentation is being prepared to request ministerial tests. Once the tests are completed and the authorizations for the reactivation of the systems arrive, the station can be reopened.
