Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 17 new infections have been detected on 3,936 molecular swabs – of which 5 among migrants in the province of Trieste – with a positive percentage of 0.43%. There are also 1,293 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which 5 cases (0.39%) were detected. 66% of new infections have to do with people whose age is less than 29 years. Today there are no deaths; one person is hospitalized in intensive care, while patients in other departments drop to 6.

This was communicated by the deputy governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.

The deaths totaled 3,789, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2,012 in Udine, 671 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 103,036, the clinically healed 11, while those in isolation are 190.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 107,033 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 21,162 in Trieste, 50,356 in Udine, 21,080 in Pordenone, 13,050 in Gorizia and 1,385 from outside the region.

Finally, no positive results were recorded among the staff of the regional health system or among the guests and operators of residential facilities for the elderly.
