Denise’s disappearance, Jessica Pulizzi’s ex-boyfriend interrogated for six hours

The interrogation of Gaspare Ghaleb, ex-boyfriend of Jessica Pulizzi, the young Mazara tried and then acquitted for complicity in the kidnapping of little Denise Pipitone, ended around 5 pm in the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Marsala. Summoned by the magistrates, Ghaleb had entered the offices of the Marsala prosecutor in the morning to be heard, as an “assisted” witness, in the context of the new investigation opened for the kidnapping of Denise, who disappeared from Mazara del Vallo on 1 September 2004, when she had little less than four years.

Ghaleb was tried together with Jessica for false statements to the prosecutor and for this in the first instance he was sentenced by the Court of Marsala to two years in prison, but the prescription of the crime arrived on appeal. To assist him was not the lawyer who had always defended him up to now (Salvatore Chiofalo), but Walter Marino.
