Originally from the Bosco di Busca hamlet, Aldo Aimar started working at the age of 13, as an apprentice in various bakeries in Busca. Having learned the trade, after the marriage with Mrs. Elsa, together in 1968 they had opened a bakery in via Umberto I, in the city center, near the church of the Rossa. Having closed the business in 2003, Aimar had rediscovered his passion for the mountains. In Busca he was well known and esteemed also for his long and constant commitment in the world of volunteering, in particular for the San Vincenzo association and the Red Cross.
