The center left closed the game with the Primaries two weeks ago. The M5S – also given the turbulence of this period in the pentastellated world – will define the framework by the end of the month, while Carlo Calenda has begun to officially present the candidates to lead the 15 Municipalities of the Capital. In the center-right, meanwhile, the negotiations on the aspiring mini-mayors are still completely open: the last meeting of the Roman table ended with a black smoke and many knots still to be untied.

Rome, administrative elections: six mini-mayors candidates for the League

Starting with the distribution of the nominations among the various legs of the coalition: numerically, at least five candidates will be branded Fratelli d’Italia, as many Lega and two Forza Italia, to which must be added a name chosen by Cambiamo (the movement of Giovanni Toti), perhaps in tandem with the UDC, and one from the civic list of Enrico Michetti. Vittorio Sgarbi’s Renaissance (it is difficult for him to get it) and the two major shareholders of the center-right, divided on the shirt to be attributed to Michetti, aspire to the fifteenth box. “He is an FDI candidate, so we have an extra municipality,” they say from the League. “No, he’s a civic”, they reply from Giorgia Meloni’s party, claiming to be “clearly the first force in the coalition” in the capital. So there is the problem of the bands: VI (Tor Bella Monaca) and XV (Cassia) are considered to be in band A, or with a very likely victory for the center-right. Immediately after there are XIV (Monte Mario) and X (Ostia), while I (historic center), II (Parioli-Salario), VIII (Garbatella) and XII (Monteverde) are considered almost impossible.

M5S on the verge of splitting, now the vote (but not on Rousseau): this is how the Steering Committee will be elected

I nomi – The presidency of the VI should go to Fdi, with Nicola Franco, while the XV will go to the Carroccio, with a ballot between Andrea Signorini and Giuseppe Mocci. Fratelli d’Italia should also have the nominations of I with Stefano Tozzi, of the V (Pigneto-Centocelle) with Daniele Rinaldi, of the XII – where Gianni De Lucia could be in contention – and of the XIII (Aurelio) with Marco Giovagnorio. The League could therefore go to the IV (Tiburtino) with Roberto Santoro, the IX (Eur) with Antonio D’Apolito in pole position, the X (with Monica Picca or the former police officer Antonio De Greco) and the XI ( Portuense) with Daniele Catalano. Forza Italia will certainly have the II with Patrizio Di Tursi and could get the IX with Pietrangelo Massaro: in the latter case the Carroccio would turn to the XIV, with Fernando Urciuolo. The VIII list would thus go to Michetti, while the III (Monte Sacro) remains at stake, which Fdi would like for Giordana Petrella and the VII (Appio-Tuscolano), where the Lega would like to nominate Flavia Cerquoni.

Countryside – Carlo Calenda, meanwhile, excludes any possible alliance in the ballot: “I will not let anyone I have left out until then enter through the window – underlines the leader of Action – I will ask citizens to vote for me”. Then he also talks about the theme of nomads: «Roma camps? I think they should always be cleared, even when it comes to small settlements – says Calenda – Those who want to integrate should be welcomed, without reserving preferential lanes for them. The others must be cleared, cleared and cleared, otherwise they won’t go away ».
Roberto Gualtieri explains that “we need a profound transformation of the city: we finally have the possibility” thanks to the Recovery fund “to create the social structures that are lacking or that are badly distributed – says the former Minister of Economy – We can create nurseries, schools also open in the afternoon, use 110 per cent to improve our urban heritage of social housing ».
Michetti, on the other hand, focuses on the care of the city: “It is unacceptable to learn that there are people blocked at home or in a station due to the lack of maintenance of an elevator – he writes on Facebook – The civilization of a people and a community is measured in terms of particular on the ability to ensure full citizenship for all. For this, an absolute commitment of the various political and social forces is needed on the front of the removal of architectural barriers as well as on equal access to the labor market ».
