TARANTO – Back to green life. Return to “green” life. This is the artistic scream launched by Gioia Tagliente from Taranto, which until July 7 will be exhibited with her work in a social group exhibition at the Galleria Area Contesa in via Margutta 90, on the historic street of artists in the heart of Rome. The exhibition is promoted by the Pitturiamo network.
After more than a year of pandemic, the 100×100 painting made by Tagliente wants to underline the close connection that exists between men and the environment that surrounds us. The colors have a strong impact, applied with short and violent, well-defined brushstrokes, with the aim of creating multiple shades made of warm shades ranging from blue, to teal, passing from yellow, pink, white and gold with splashes of green that recall nature and its infinite variations. The oblique brushstrokes with strong shades are mainly central, surrounded by brightness, as if it were a sky in which colors develop, in search of a balance between shadow and light.
Tagliente’s work contains three hidden words: “courage”, “resilience” and “dream” to say that it takes courage and resilience to realize one’s dreams and break the walls of ignorance.
“We have experienced a period of restrictions due to Covid-19 which has taught us a lot, from which to draw an important life lesson – explains Tagliente -. Going back to society means respecting ourselves more, taking greater care of others, of society, of the environment in which we live “. Gioia Tagliente is a contemporary artist. He is 36 years old, lives and works in Rome. She is a professional journalist and press office, graduated in legal sciences and specialized in journalism in London, at the London School of Journalism. She has always painted, since she was little. Love colors and their blending. And it is precisely from the meeting of the blends that its originality takes its cue.
