Roma Capitale has approved and transmitted to the Ministry of Infrastructures the scheme for the technical report relating to this project which will be financed with resources from MIMS according to the provisions of the Executive Decree n.73 of 2021 for the design and construction of cycle links between the railway stations and university centers. The total amount of the loan is 595,000 euros.
Statements by the Mayor and Deputy Mayor
“We are further expanding the cycle network of Rome and making it increasingly interconnected and branched, in line with the planning and objectives contained in our Urban Sustainable Mobility Plan“, Declares the mayor, Virginia Raggi.
“It will be a track in a protected location that will also make it possible to mend existing itineraries or itineraries that are being designed or built. Thanks to the Mims funds, we will therefore be able to create a strategic link to facilitate the movement of staff, teachers and students of the university by bike. This project will also be an opportunity for redevelopment interventions on the roads concerned“, Adds the deputy mayor with delegation to the City in Motion, Pietro Calabrese.
