(ANSA) – MILAN, 01 JUL – Assocastelli, Assopatrimonio and Federestauro have jointly promoted the establishment of a special Committee dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of our historical heritage on the occasion of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. architect Tommaso Tommasi, who with the Tommasi Architecture Studio (founded in Saccolongo, in the province of Padua, at the end of the 70s by Gianni Tommasi) boasts conservative restoration and redevelopment interventions of important monumental and architectural complexes.
An expert in territorial planning, Tommasi will be joined by other professionals who will form a council that is currently still in the process of being established.
The Committee – which coined the slogan “From Milan to Cortina, 400 Km between sport and history” – will also be responsible for promoting tourism along the itinerary that will include numerous cities and places of strategic importance (Milan, Bergamo, Brescia, Desenzano , Peschiera del Garda, Verona, Vicenza, Padua, Venice, Vittorio Veneto, Bolzano and La Valle del Cadore) thanks to agreements with important tour operators, including Giver, to offer stays to guests and visitors from Northern Europe (Denmark, Finland , Norway, Iceland, Sweden).
The first location chosen and already included in the promotion itinerary is the Castello Secco Suardo di Lurano, 20 km from Bergamo. (HANDLE).
