Following the recent postponements of Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City and the Mortal Kombat reboot, the Sony Pictures also announced yet another postponement of Uncharted.

Fortunately, just as for the two cases mentioned above, the postponement will not be too significant, given that from the previous date of 11 February 2022 the long-awaited adaptation starring Tom Holland will now be released on February 18, 2022, just a week later.

Yet this is yet another change of direction for the film, whose work dates back to the distant 2009. Since it was finally completed, Uncharted has already passed from March 5, 2021 to October 8, 2021, and from July 16, 2021 to February 2022, without forgetting that initially it was even planned for 2016 and then for 2017.

Among the various directors who have succeeded to lead the project we mention David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Seth Gordon, Shawn Levy, Dan Trachtenberg and Travis Knight, with the final version directed by Ruben Fleischer of Zombieland e Venom: the film, needless to say to the passionate readers of Everyeye, follows the adventures of the young treasure hunter Nathan Drake and will also include in the cast Mark Wahlberg as Sully, Sophia Ali as Chloe Frazer and Antonio Banderas and Tati Gabrielle in two unknown roles. Wahlberg was supposed to play Nathan Drake years ago, but relentless time has ‘demoted’ him to co-star. complete the cast.
