The former lead singer of IRON MAIDEN, Blaze Bayley, in a recent interview with Uncle Steve’s Iron Maiden Zone talked about a hypothetical tour with the three singers of the band: him, Bruce Dickinson e Paul Di’Anno:
“Well, first they should ask me. I think it would be really fun for the fans. I mean, Bruce he’s a hero to me. I’ve always loved his voice. He is a fantastic singer and a fantastic artist. He’s the best in the world at what he does, he’s incredible.
I think it would be really cool for fans to have Paul, Blaze e Bruce on the same stage. ·[Io e Paul] we could sing a couple of the main songs from each era and then Bruce may close the show. I think it would be a lot of fun and it would take a lot of security, because there would be some people who still hate me and would say, ‘It’s rubbish compared to Bruce‘. Then there would be others who love me and would say, ‘Shut up!’ Then quarrels could break out. Who knows? I think it would be fun, man. I can imagine the conversations in the bar between the fans: ‘Who do you think is the best?’.
Yes, it would be fun but I don’t think it will happen. I think the IRON MAIDEN still have a lot of great music aside. I spoke with Steve [Harris, bassista] last month. I think they have a lot of great music coming up. Steve he is more enthusiastic than ever ”.
