The outbreak of the infection widens in the medical department of the Acre hospital. The two nurses who tested positive in recent days, in the last few hours were joined by two other colleagues and a patient among those hospitalized in the ward.
The total then rises to five, based on the outcome of the molecular swabs performed.
The ward will be closed until Monday, the premises sanitized and the swab negative patients discharged. The one that has been infected will almost certainly be moved to the Covid ward.
How could this happen in a ward that should be impermeable to the outside and with vaccinated staff? Once the emergency of these hours has been managed, the question will need to be answered.
