The Sinnai vaccination hub is ready for the opening which could take place as early as Wednesday, with the first administrations to the staff who joined the project wanted by the Municipality and who obtained the favorable opinion of the Ats in recent days after an inspection at the site .
There are four workstations provided which, if necessary, can become eight. The vaccines will be administered with the collaboration of civil protection associations.
Vaccinations were scheduled twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Ats has guaranteed the availability of the doses.
“There is an absolute need to start and do many vaccines to finally defeat the virus. There is a need – commented the mayor Tarcisio Anedda – to convince everyone to get vaccinated. There can be no perplexity. I remember that in Sinnai I also had several deaths from Covid. A great effort has been made to set up this hub: the Ats region immediately gave their availability believing in our project: I repeat it – the mayor has closed it is necessary to administer the highest possible number of vaccines and you have to do them quickly “.
The hub was created in the gym in Via Olimpia, in the Sant’Elena area, where there is also a large parking lot. “Inside the gym – said the deputy mayor Nuccio Melis – besides the vaccination stations, the chairs for waiting and post-vaccination have been arranged. Everything was done with care in compliance with the ATS rules: not for the inspection was not concluded in a favorable manner “.
Another hub will also open soon in Maracalagonis and a third in Burcei.
