Dune is scheduled in Italian cinemas this week, and many are wondering: the film with Timothée Chalamet e zendaya hiding a post-credit scene?
The answer is no, viewers will not find any secret scenes at the end of the credits of Dune, despite the sudden and abruptly truncated ending of the film immediately suggests a possible continuation of the story of Paul Atreides and the planet Arrakis. In fact, director Denis Villeneuve and Warner Bros. have every intention of making Dune: Part 2, but as usual in the film business the ‘green light’ for the project will only come if the first chapter is successful, including the receipts in the hall and above all the views on the HBO Max on-demand streaming service: as with all the Warner Bros. films of 2021, in fact, also Dune in the United States it will be released simultaneously between theaters and streaming platforms, with a launch date set for October 16, practically a month later than Italy and other markets.
We also remind you that WarnerMedia, through the on-demand streaming platform HBO Max, is also working on a spin-off tv series titled Dune: The Sisterhood, which will focus on the mysterious order of the Bene Gesserit, the ‘witches’ with incredible physical and psychic abilities who move in the shadows between the feudal politics and the intrigues of the Empire.
