New Triumph Bonneville 2021 range: greater performance and versatility – News

The twin-cylinder 1200 delivers 105 Nm of maximum torque at 3500 rpm, while the power reaches 80 CV a 6.550 giri / min: values ​​practically coinciding with the previous version despite the fulfillment of the new anti-pollution regulations, in addition, consumption is declared lower than MY2020 and maintenance intervals of 16,000 km.

Bonneville T 100

Bonneville Bobber 2021

From 2021 onwards we will no longer see two Bonneville Bobber in the list – the standard and the Bobber Black – but there will be only one version which unites, to quote Triumph, “the best of both worlds”, abandoning the 19-inch front wheel in favor of the version with 16 “hoop. Important news concern the engine, brakes and front suspension.

The Bobber’s engine is the 1,200 cc High Torque: thanks to a reduction in inertia it is more responsive and the power, Triumph declares, has seen a significant increase around 5,500 rpm. The maximum torque is 106 Nm at 4,000 g / min, while the maximum power is 78 CV a 6.100 giri / min, thus respecting the Euro 5 regulation and gaining a peak horsepower. The autonomy has increased by 33% thanks to the new 12 liter tank, the ride by wire allows two maps (Road and Rain) for power management, the TC can be deactivated and the maintenance intervals are every 16,000 Km.

The 2021 Triumph Bobber now features one 16 ”front wheel and one new fork with 47 mm stanchions in diameter, the tires chosen for the muscular custom are the Avon Cobra specially developed for this bike that thanks to a light carcass guarantee agility at high speeds and stability.

The saddle (placed in 690 mm from the ground) is more ergonomic and it is possible to adjust its position in height and longitudinally, to increase comfort and accessibility. The instrumentation (adjustable in position) has also been improved with a new Bonneville logo bezel finished in metal. The translucent silver indexes stand out on the new dial and new indicators have been added.

The Bobber 2021 is available in the new Matt Storm Gray / Matt Ironstone and Cordovan Red colors and in the classic Jet Black option, at the price of 14.500 euro. Accessories for the Bobber? The choice is very wide for her too: a range of 77 Triumph Genuine Accessories, including a high handlebar, a set of bags and various options for the saddle, which remains adjustable, and for the footpegs.
