The family Modern Classic of Triumph is renewed for 2021 with a series of significant updates to improve performance, versatility and style: few aesthetic touches, the now essential Euro 5 homologation and updated twin-cylinder engines are present in all models Bonneville T120, T120 Black, T100, Street Twin, as well as the Bonneville Speedmaster cruiser and custom Bonneville Bobber; an elegant one is also presented Street Twin Gold Line limited edition. They will be in dealerships from March: let’s see them one after the other, because each of these motorcycles has been evolved and reinvented in the direction consistent with its intended use and philosophy of use.
Bonneville T120 e T120 Black 2021
For two o’clock timeless classics technical and stylistic novelties: if on an aesthetic level we find a un new metal emblem 3-bar chrome e new graphics and logos on the instrumentation, for 2021 the Bonneville T120 and T120 Black are equipped with new ones aluminum rims (18 ” X 2.75 ” at the front; 17 ” X 4.25 ” at the rear) which allow a saving of 7 Kg on a cyclistically sensitive sector such as unsprung masses; thanks also to the lower inertia, they make the bike more agile and manageable while driving and when stationary. The braking department is also updated with new Brembo floating calipers, controlled by the latest generation ABS combined in turn with the switchable traction control, while the cruise control is now standard e i riding mode (Rain and Road) are up to date. There is also the immobilizer incorporated in the key, a USB charging socket in the saddle, the internal wiring prepared for the connection of the heated grips available as an accessory and the LED DRLs.
Turning to engine, the 1200 cc Triumph twin-cylinder in the MY 2021 version is updated to comply with the Euro 5 legislation and deliver more torque: the crankshaft is new and lighter, clutch and countershafts have been improved in search of less inertia and a more immediate throttle. The twin-cylinder 1200 delivers 105 Nm of maximum torque at 3500 rpm, while the power reaches 80 CV a 6.550 giri / min: values practically coinciding with the previous version despite the fulfillment of the new anti-pollution regulations, in addition, consumption is declared lower than MY2020 and maintenance intervals of 16,000 km.
The Bonneville T120 Black it follows the standard T 120 in all but has a number of details and components total-black including rims, grab rail, engine covers, mirrors, headlight surround, turn signals and exhaust, plus the long seat with embossed Triumph logo.

Bonneville T 100
L’entry-level Bonneville T 100 gains power and improves in the cycling sector, saving even 4 kg of weight. The 900cc High Torque twin-cylinder engine delivers now 10 HP more with lower emissions and is updated and enhanced up to 65 CV at 7,400 g / min 80 Nm at 3,750 g / min. 80% of maximum torque is available from 2000 to 7000 rpm, with the red line of the tachometer shifted 500 rpm further than the previous version. To get to these performances they were adopted a crankshaft with low inertia, lighter countershafts, a thinner clutch cover and a magnesium timing cover, thus making the new T100 engine lighter than the previous version, contributing significantly to the weight reduction of 4 kg overallObviously the homologation is Euro 5, while reduced consumption is declared compared to MY2020 and a kit is available for driving license A2 removable to restore full power once the license limitations are exceeded.
In the cycling sector, the adoption of a new Brembo 2-piston front brake with more bite and better modularity than a new one cartridge fork evolved and two classic rear shock absorbers combined with 32-spoke rims. The saddle is placed at 790mm from the ground, to guarantee high accessibility and in search of an easy and intuitive guide.

And the Best selling Modern Classic ever e is renewed with the High Torque twin-cylinder engine updated to reduce emissions: an even more comfortable seat and a series of new details and finishes are the main innovations for MY 2021.
The new generation 900cc engine, and equipped with ride-by-wire with two riding modes (Rain and Road), of the Street Twin now exceeds the Euro 5 requirements with reduced emissions and offering greater fuel efficiency. Maximum power is 65 hp at 7,500 rpm and maximum torque of 80 Nm at 3,800 rpm. Also for the Street Twin the maintenance interval is 16,000 km and a kit for driving license A2, reversible at full power at Triumph dealerships. The new saddle is set at 765 mm, but also new are the machined alloy wheels, side panels and other details such as the brushed aluminum headlight mounts, such as the throttle body trim, and the black engine covers with Bonneville logos.
ABS and switchable traction control are standard, while there is a USB socket under the saddle and the immobilizer integrated into the key.

The Triumph classic custom shows the updated and Euro 5 compliant 1200 cc High Torque twin-cylinder engine for 2021 as well as an increase in comfort. On the engine of the new Triumph Speedmaster inertia has been reduced and a new tuning has been adopted for a fuller and smoother power and torque delivery, with an increase at mid-range which has led to exceeding the requirements of the Euro 5 legislation and an improvement in consumption . The maximum torque is 106 Nm at just 3,850 rpm, with more than 90% of the available torque up to 5,750 rpm, while the maximum power of 78 hp reaches 6,100 rpm and is one horsepower higher than the Euro 4 model. Here too, maintenance every 16,000 km and two riding modes thanks also to ride by wire (Rain and Road).
The fork from 47 mm Showa and the graphics of the instrumentation, but above all for 2021 a two-seater saddle configuration (placed at 705 mm); the rider now has separate lumbar support and a sculpted construction with thicker padding, while the passenger seat has 11mm thicker padding than the previous generation. The saddle configuration can be easily changed between a double or single configuration, adapting the Speedmaster’s appearance to personal tastes and allowing the mounting of a rear rack.

The price is 14,500 euros with the possibility of drawing on the catalog of 79 accessories such as panniers, saddles, special exhausts, heated grips and so on.
Bonneville Bobber 2021
From 2021 onwards we will no longer see two Bonneville Bobber in the list – the standard and the Bobber Black – but there will be only one version which unites, to quote Triumph, “the best of both worlds”, abandoning the 19-inch front wheel in favor of the version with 16 “hoop. Important news concern the engine, brakes and front suspension.
The Bobber’s engine is the 1,200 cc High Torque: thanks to a reduction in inertia it is more responsive and the power, Triumph declares, has seen a significant increase around 5,500 rpm. The maximum torque is 106 Nm at 4,000 g / min, while the maximum power is 78 CV a 6.100 giri / min, thus respecting the Euro 5 regulation and gaining a peak horsepower. The autonomy has increased by 33% thanks to the new 12 liter tank, the ride by wire allows two maps (Road and Rain) for power management, the TC can be deactivated and the maintenance intervals are every 16,000 Km.
The 2021 Triumph Bobber now features one 16 ”front wheel and one new fork with 47 mm stanchions in diameter, the tires chosen for the muscular custom are the Avon Cobra specially developed for this bike that thanks to a light carcass guarantee agility at high speeds and stability.
The saddle (placed in 690 mm from the ground) is more ergonomic and it is possible to adjust its position in height and longitudinally, to increase comfort and accessibility. The instrumentation (adjustable in position) has also been improved with a new Bonneville logo bezel finished in metal. The translucent silver indexes stand out on the new dial and new indicators have been added.
The Bobber 2021 is available in the new Matt Storm Gray / Matt Ironstone and Cordovan Red colors and in the classic Jet Black option, at the price of 14.500 euro. Accessories for the Bobber? The choice is very wide for her too: a range of 77 Triumph Genuine Accessories, including a high handlebar, a set of bags and various options for the saddle, which remains adjustable, and for the footpegs.
