The Intesa Sanpolo group has disbursed and is making available a total of 150 million euros to support small and medium-sized enterprises in Monza and Milan in sustainable growth.

Intesa Sanpaolo believes in the sustainable growth of companies and for this reason it has already disbursed 150 million euros between Milan and Monza Brianza. In particular, thanks to S-Loan (Sustainability Loan), subsidized loans for investments in projects aimed at sustainable development of SMEs, small and medium-sized enterprises, the group has already provided approximately 100 million euros in loans to local SMEs in the area. of Milan and Monza.

Through the Circular economy ceiling that Intesa Sanpaolo makes available for transformative projects of SMEs inspired by the principles of the circular economy, over 50 million euros have already been made available to companies in Milan and Brianza. These data emerged during the webinar entitled “Enhancing the sustainability of businesses: tools and solutions for growth”, which was held in agreement with Assolombarda to promote sustainable growth through a collaboration process launched in 2019 between the institute of credit and the association of industrialists.

The ESG values ​​(Environmental, Social and Governance, i.e. environment, social and governance), the attention to good environmental and social practices in business management and human capital are at the center, in fact, of the partnership that aims to expand support for businesses to deal with the consequences of the health crisis.

During his speech Gianluigi Venturini, regional director of Milan and Intesa Sanpaolo province recalled that “the renewed agreement with Assolombarda strengthens the historic collaboration undertaken in favor of the capitalization of companies by offering further innovative solutions in the name of sustainability and social responsibility”.

Venturini also recalled that the Intesa Sanpaolo group has activated “specific tools aimed at the large number of employees of the associated companies to promote social inclusiveness”. The group has, in fact, intervened with “Xme StudioStation”, the zero-interest micro-loan up to 1,500 euros for families with ISEE income up to 50 thousand euros, which allows with 1 euro a day to face the expenses for computers and Dad, with “PerMerito”, the loan designed for university students with long repayment times and without guarantees and with “[email protected]”, A loan on favorable terms aimed at young working mothers, which allows for financial support to reconcile family and professional life in the first years of their children’s lives.
