Piedmont enters the “white zone” from tomorrow. The President of the Region, Alberto Cirio, the ordinance which includes all possible reopening in and which will be in force until 31 July next. The permitted reopenings include theme and amusement parks, including temporary ones (traveling show activities, adventure parks and entertainment centers for families), swimming pools and swimming centers in indoor facilities, wellness and spa centers, cultural and social centers and recreational facilities, gaming and betting rooms and bingo halls.
The list also includes private parties also resulting from civil and / or religious ceremonies outdoors and indoors, local festivals and fairs, large trade fairs, congresses and conventions, training courses, open sporting events to the public that take place indoors. Ballrooms and discos can also reopen, but only for bar and restaurant activities, while dancing is not yet allowed. National guidelines and containment and safety regulations apply to all reopenings and permitted activities. Finally, the ordinance provides for the extension to 31 July of the effectiveness of decree no. 26 of 23 February last on reports due by those who return to Piedmont from abroad. Bookings for vaccines in pharmacies start tomorrow, aimed at healthy people aged 18 to 79 years of age. Inoculations starting Friday 18 June.
Today in Piedmont 36,674 people received the vaccine against Covid. 4,259 were given the second dose. among the vaccinated 6,257 in their thirties, 11,638 in their forties, 6,692 in their fifties, 2,708 in their sixties, 915 in their seventies, 649 the extremely vulnerable and 115 those over 80. Since the beginning of the campaign, 2,998,054 doses have been administered (of which 933,982 as second), corresponding to 91.5% of 3,277,340 so far available for Piedmont.
The Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region has communicated 59 new cases of people who tested positive for Covid-19 (of which 4 after antigen tests), equal to 0.7% of 8,100 swabs performed, of which 4,984 antigenic. Of the 59 new cases, 29 were asymptomatic (49.2%). There are 10 screening cases, 39 case contacts, 10 with no ongoing investigation in RSA and Social Welfare Structures, 3 in the school-based environment and 56 among the general population.
The total of positive cases therefore becomes 366,174, of which 29,519 Alessandria, 17,451 Asti, 11,506 Biella, 52,846 Cuneo, 28,191 Novara, 195,992 Turin, 13,704 Vercelli, 12,963 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 1,500 residents outside the region, but in charge of Piedmont health facilities. The remaining 2,502 are under development and territorial assignment.
There are 47 people admitted to intensive care (+2 compared to yesterday). There are 317 inpatients not in intensive care (-8 compared to yesterday). There are 2,305 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 5,160,217 (+8,100 compared to yesterday), of which 1,692,886 were negative.
