The data on the progress of the pandemic contained in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health

Another 273 new positives in Sicily for coronavirus infection out of 13,367 swabs processed, with an incidence of 2.0%. The Region is in first place in Italy for the number of daily infections. The figure is not very different from yesterday’s (284). The data is as always contained in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health relative to the last 24 hours. There were 4 victims and the total rose to 5,897. The number of current positives is 6,864 with a decrease of 497 cases. There are 766 recovered. In hospitals there are 375 patients, 25 fewer than yesterday, those in intensive care are 38, the same number compared to the previous bulletin.

IN ITALY: There are 1,901 coronavirus test positives in Italy in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday there were 2,079. On the other hand, there are 69 victims in one day, while yesterday there were 88. In total, the cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 4,241,760, the deaths 126,924. The discharged and healed are instead 3,949,597, with an increase of 5,893 compared to yesterday, while the currently positive drop to 165,239, down 4,070 in the last 24 hours.
