Venice, 8 June 2021 – After the entry of Veneto in the white area the data continues to confirm the withdrawal of the outbreak of Covid-19 in the Region and secure the possibility, at least for the moment, of a return in bands with greater restrictions.
Even if today’s bulletin records a surge compared to yesterday’s, with 130 new infections in the last 24 hours, compared to 38 of 7 June, it must be borne in mind that the numbers of the previous bulletin referred to Sunday, when usually fewer swabs are processed and the same discourse, albeit to a lesser extent, applies to the survey of Saturday, when in fact the cases had been 80. But in the last bulletin with the data of the weekdays, or last Friday, 130 new positives were communicated: the same as today.
It is therefore one stable situation, also with regard to i deaths: They were quattro yesterday. The number of positives and gods beds occupied in hospital by Covid patients. They are currently positive 6,507 people, a decline of 312 units in twenty-four hours. As far as hospitals are concerned 487 patients hospitalized in ordinary departments, 19 less than the bulletin of June 7, e 65 in intensive care: given in this case unchanged.
In Veneto, one in five citizens has also had the call
Veneto has passed the 20% of the population it has completed the vaccination cycle anti-Covid, with 994,860 recalls carried out, equal to 20.4% of residents. The data emerges from the regional report on the vaccination campaign.
They were administered yesterday 43,852 doses of vaccine, which bring the total from the beginning of the campaign to 3.110.913, equal to 91,3% of supplies. They have received at least one dose 2,092,128 citizens, equal to 42.9% of residents.
By age group, those over 80 with at least one dose are 98% of the total; people in the 70-79 age group are 87%; between 60 and 69 they are 80%; between 50 and 59 they are 62% and in the 40-49 age group they are 27.1%. The disabled with at least one administration are 75.9% of the entire audience, the vulnerable are 76%.
