TRENTO. Good news also today from the Covid bulletin of the provincial health services company which for the second consecutive day marks number 0 in the list of deaths with a low percentage of new infections (21) out of about 1500 swabs analyzed. And in the meantime the vaccination campaign now reaches 330,000 (but Trentino remains in last place in Italy for completed doses and the penultimate for total doses administered), while another 12 recovered bring the total to 43,870.
Yesterday 661 molecular swabs were analyzed (all in the Microbiology Laboratory of the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento) which identified 7 new positive cases, also confirming 23 positives intercepted in recent days by rapid tests. The latter were 937 and identified 14 new infections
Among the infections today, 3 concern children or young people (1 is less than 2 years old, 1 in the 3-5 year range and 1 between 14-19 years). Yesterday there were 23 quarantined classes).
There are also 4 infections among the older population: 1 among the over eighty, 2 in the 70-79 age group and 1 between 60 and 69 years.
Two people were admitted to the hospital yesterday, but there were 4 discharges: at the moment there are 25 patients, of which 6 are in intensive care.
Vaccines administered this morning reached 329,393 vaccines (of which 100,478 second doses). Over 80 citizens were administered 64,544 doses, while in the 70-79 and 60-69 age groups they were respectively 70,316 and 68,127.
If we continue like this we will be the last in Italy to achieve “herd immunity”. As the Corriere della Sera writes today at the national level, “the regions in trouble these days can be encouraged to do more and better without disavowing their actions. Probably the slowest ones are those that are opening up to younger age groups with a few days of slippage because they are focusing on the central bands of these days, those between 50 and 59 years and between 40 and 49 years. This may be the explanation of Emilia-Romagna, which would achieve immunity on 21 September. Or like Piedmont on September 22, and Veneto on September 20, at the moment two excellences that however show a slight slowdown in the last week which is in fact crystallized in the analysis. Calabria would reach its goal on September 16th, Tuscany on September 14th, Sardinia on September 11th as well as Liguria, Marche on September 4th. The latest is the autonomous province of Trento, on 4 October, where new adhesions seem to be holding back in an area where a large part of the population has already been vaccinated with the first dose.
