There are 275 new Covid positives in the last 24 hours in Sicily, according to the latest update of the Civil Protection Department, out of 7,232 swabs. There are 7,971 current positives, 382 are hospitalized with symptoms, 44 in intensive care and the other 7,545 in home isolation.
Those discharged or healed in the last 24 hours amounted to 197 for a total of 213,680 from the beginning of the health emergency to date, while deaths are 2, 5,860 in total. The new cases on the island are divided as follows: Palermo 68, Catania 86, Messina 21, Syracuse 55, Trapani 14, Ragusa 21, Agrigento 4, Caltanissetta 6, Enna 0.
In the meantime, the countdown for the overcoming of the curfew begins. From tomorrow the limit for returning home will be postponed to midnight, the last stage before the complete overcoming of the measure, set by the last reopening on 21 June.
