Milan, May 5, 2021 – The vaccination campaign is starting to bear fruit, infections are falling and more and more Regions are ready to take out their ticket for the coveted white area, not counting those who have already made the leap. Most Italians, this summer, do not intend to give up holidays and, at the top of our local wish list, the classic holiday at the big.

Although the trend is positive, it is still necessary to adopt responsible behavior against Covid and don’t let your guard down, especially now that the shirts are getting bigger and the opportunities for socializing are increasing. To dictate the rules, for the moment, is theOrdinance on guidelines for the resumption of economic and social activities, published on the website of Ministry of Health, which incorporates the guidelines for the resumption of the economic and social activities of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces. So let’s see in detail what the rules will be in force at big, in beach and in accommodation facilities, even outdoors such as camping.

▪ Prepare an adequate one information on the prevention measures to be respected, understandable also for customers of other nationalities. ▪ Reorganize the spaces, to guarantee access to the establishment in an orderly manner, in order to avoid gatherings of people and to ensure the maintenance of at least 1 meter of separation between users, with the exception of people who, according to the provisions in force, are not subject to interpersonal distancing; this last aspect relates to individual responsibility. If possible organize separate paths for entry and exit.
▪ Promote, as far as possible, the expansion of shaded areas to prevent gatherings, especially during the hottest hours.
▪ Ensure a distance between the umbrellas (or other shading systems) in order to guarantee a surface of at least 10 m2 for each umbrella, regardless of the way the beach is set up (for horizontal or rhombus rows).
▪ A distance of at least 1 m must be guaranteed between the beach equipment (sun loungers, deck chairs), when not positioned in the umbrella place.
▪ Regular and frequent cleaning and disinfection of common areas, changing rooms, cabins, showers, toilets, etc., however ensured after the closure of the plant.
▪ Equipment such as sunbeds, deck chairs and umbrellas must be disinfected at every change of person or family unit, and in any case at the end of the day.
The practice of group play-sporting activities is prohibited which can give rise to gatherings.
▪ Individual sports that usually take place on the beach (eg rackets) or in the water (eg swimming, surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing) can be practiced in compliance with interpersonal distancing measures. Otherwise, for team sports (eg beach volleyball, beach soccer) it will be necessary to comply with the provisions of the competent institutions. Then pay attention to distances even at sea, a rule that applies everywhere.

There is no shortage of precise directives also regarding the free beaches, also in these contexts the importance of information is reaffirmed, for example through the preparation of special signs showing all the information useful for maintaining interpersonal distancing and preventing gatherings, and individual responsibility on the part of patrons on the adoption of respectful behavior of the prevention measures, with particular reference, as reported above, to maintaining the distance and al ban on gathering. In order to ensure compliance with the safety distance of at least 1 meter between people and the cleaning and disinfection interventions of any services present, the presence of a security officer. The positioning of the umbrellas must also comply with the above indications.

What should we expect instead in hotel? Also in this case, indications have been drawn up applicable to both hotel and non-hotel accommodation facilities, accommodation in farmhouses, short rentals and open-air tourist-accommodation facilities.

▪ Define the maximum number of simultaneous presences in relation to the volumes of space and air changes and the possibility of creating aggregations throughout the entry, presence and exit path.

▪ Adopt measures in such a way as to always guarantee compliance with the interpersonal distance of at least 1 meter (extendable to at least 2 meters based on the epidemiological risk scenario), and favor the differentiation of routes within the structures, with particular attention to the entrance and exit areas. In this regard, it is suggested to post information signs and / or to delimit spaces (for example, with stickers to be attached to the floor, balls, route marking tapes, etc.).
▪ Interpersonal distancing does not apply to members of the same family group or cohabitants, nor to people occupying the same room o the same room for overnight stays, nor to people who, according to the provisions in force, are not subject to interpersonal distancing (the latter aspect refers to individual responsibility).
▪ The station dedicated to the reception and the cashier can be equipped with physical barriers (eg screens); alternatively, the staff must wear the mask. In any case, favor electronic payment methods and management of online reservations, with automated check-in and check-out systems where possible. It is without prejudice to the obligation to provide for the recognition of the guest in presence, before making the communication to the public security authority.
▪ Maintain thelist of persons housed for a period of 14 days.

▪ Users and workers must properly wear the mask to protect the airways, indoors and outdoors in accordance with current regulations.
▪ Make hand sanitation products compulsorily available in various locations within the facility. It is allowed to make available, possibly in several copies, of magazines, newspapers and information material for users for common use, to be consulted after hand sanitization.
▪ Any object provided for use by the facility must be disinfected before delivery to the guest.
▪ The use of elevators must be such as to allow respect for interpersonal distance, even with the mask, providing for possible exceptions in the case of members of the same family, cohabitants and people who occupy the same room or the same room for overnight stays, and for people who according to the provisions in force, they are not subject to distancing. The maximum number of people that can be transported must be defined and communicated with specific signs.
▪ Ensure frequent cleaning and disinfection of all environments and premises, with particular attention to common areas and surfaces touched most frequently (handrails, light switches, elevator buttons, door and window handles, etc.).
▪ It is mandatory to keep open, unless weather conditions or other situations of necessity do not allow it, doors, windows and windows in order to favor the natural air exchange in the internal environments. Due to the overcrowding and the time spent by the occupants, the effectiveness of the systems must be verified in order to guarantee the adequacy of the external air flow according to the regulations in force. In any case, the crowding must be correlated to the actual flow rates of outside air. For air conditioning systems, it is mandatory, if technically possible, to totally exclude the air recirculation function. In any case, the measures for the natural air exchange and / or through the system, and the cleaning of the recirculating air filters must be guaranteed with the system stopped to maintain adequate filtration / removal levels. If technically possible, the recirculation filtering capacity must be increased, replacing the existing filters with higher class filters, guaranteeing the maintenance of the flow rates. In the toilets the air extractor must be kept in continuous operation.

▪ Users and workers must properly wear the mask to protect the airways, indoors and outdoors in accordance with current regulations.
▪ I mobile means of accommodation of guests (e.g. tents, caravans, campers) must be positioned within delimited pitches, in such a way as to guarantee compliance with the distancing measures among the various crews, however not less than 3 meters between the 2 entrances of the housing units, if frontal. The spacing of at least 1.5 meters must be maintained even when using accessories or appliances (e.g. tables, chairs, sun loungers, deck chairs).
▪ Recommendation to the occupants of the pitch to clean and disinfect the external furnishings as well as the internal ones.
▪ For the toilets for common use, considering the peculiarity of the same in the context of these structures, cleaning interventions are introduced to be carried out at least twice a day. Due to a greater turnout of guests, in the case of occupancy of more than 70% of the pitches without toilets present in the structure (thus excluding mobile homes, bungalows and pitches with private services), cleaning and disinfection will be carried out at least 3 times per day.
▪ The intervention of maintenance personnel / employees in the apartments in the presence of the guests must be carried out in such a way as to guarantee the social distancing of at least 1 meter.
