The new positives increase but the Coronavirus infection curve in Campania decreases significantly, never so low since the explosion of the second wave: today the virus records 307 positives out of 10,999 molecular swabs examined, seven more than yesterday with 2,510 fewer swabs processed. As a percentage, it means that 2.79% of the tests are positive, almost one percentage point less than yesterday when the contagion index was at 3.53%. Of all these newly infected, 230 are asymptomatic and 77 show symptoms in a bulletin which, however, does not take into account the cases identified with rapid antigen tests.

Overall, the number of victims with the two deaths recorded yesterday rises to 7,241, even if the crisis unit is quick to specify that “they are those who died previously”. The number of hospital admissions is still decreasing: 572 hospitalized with symptoms, 21 fewer than yesterday, and 49 patients in intensive care, the same as yesterday. Fortunately, however, the number of patients cured is growing, from 349,128 to 349,803 with 675 negativized in 24 hours and the balance between the number of recovered and newly infected is positive for the 32nd day in a row.
